Ernestina Chella, age 99, of Shelton, died peacefully in her Jupiter, FL home on December 11, 2012. She was one of five children born Agostino and Orsola Donatelli.
Ernestina was born on May 23, 1913 in Montevideo, Uraguay, where she spent her early childhood before returning to Italy.
Ernestina and her family came to the United States in October, 1958, and spent many of her later years living with her daughter Antonetta (Ann) and Son-in-law Jim Clark in Shelton.
She is predeceased by her husband Ottavio and son Agostino (Augie).
A memorial mass will be celebrated on May 23, 2013, Her 100th Birthday at St. Lawrence Church 505 Shelton Ave., in the Huntington Center Section of Shelton at 11:30 AM.
