Eugene G. Bomba, age 79, of Seymour, entered into rest on Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011 in Griffin Hospital.
He is the beloved husband of 45 years to Sandra Bobrowsky Bomba.
He was born in Seymour on May 29, 1931 son of the late Joseph and Mary Jadach Bomba and was a life long Seymour resident.
He was a co-owner and operator of Bomba Bros Dairy, Inc. in Seymour.
He was also an employee of the former Marcus Dairy in Danbury for 17 years until his retirement in 1994.
He was a member of the CT Farm Bureau and a former board member of the New Haven County Farm Bureau. Eugene loved his family, farming, animals, and growing everything from nature.
Besides his wife he is survived by a precious daughter Vickie Bomba-Lewandoski and her husband Anthony, two loving grandchildren Tyler “Ty” Bomba- Lewandoski and Cassandra “Little Peanut” Bomba-Lewandoski, a brother Edward Bomba and his wife Beverly, a sister Alfreda Garbien and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by five brothers John, Stephen, Stanley, Walter, Theodore Bomba and three sisters Sally Bomba, Matilda Hricko, and Victoria Kozak.
Friends may call on Thursday (today) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby. His funeral will leave the funeral home on Friday at 9:15 am for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Michael Church.
