Evelyn P. Provost passed away peacefully on May 10th, 2025 at the age of 82.
Affectionately known as “Pat,” she was born in Derby, CT to the late Walter I. Thompson and Evelyn Lockwood Thompson.
She was employed as a Secretary for the United States Department of
Commerce, National Marine Fisheries in New Haven, where she met her husband, the late Kenneth S. Provost.
They were married November 11th, 1978. She was predeceased by her husband Ken and her brother Richard A. Thompson.
She leaves behind numerous cousins, a granddaughter, nieces and nephews, grand and great-grandnieces and nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 23rd, 2025 at 11:00 AM (DIRECTLY) at Kings Highway Cemetery in Milford, CT.
Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford is assisting the family with all funeral arrangements.
Her family and friends remain grateful to the staff at Griffin Hospital for their compassion and care for Pat in her final days. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
