Federico “Freddy” Negron

Federico Freddy” Negron, age 45, entered into eternal rest on July 7, 2021 in Hartford Hospital, with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved and devoted husband of 24 years to Angela Torello Negron. They had a true love story unlike no other.

Freddy was born in Bronx, NY on April 3, 1976, son of Federico Negron and Nivia Marcano of Stratford. He resided in Bridgeport for most of his life until moving to Ansonia four years ago. Freddy was employed as an electrician for many years at Aerial Lighting and Electric in Naugatuck. He loved being outside and tending to his yard but quality time with his family was above all the most important thing to him. If anyone knew Freddy, they knew he was always on the grill (the grill man” as he was called). He was always that one person encouraging everyone to do better than what they were doing. Freddy wanted nothing but for everyone in his life to reach their greatest potential and felt there should be no excuses. He could have a mean front most times on the outside but if you got to know him, you knew he was one of the most loving and caring men anyone could ask for and he will truly be missed by all.

In addition to his wife and parents, Freddy leaves to cherish his memory, his one and only son, Giovanni Federico Negron of Ansonia, six loving daughters, Chancelle Negron, Desani Negron, Aiyana Negron, Emilyanna Negron, Julianna Negron, and Maribella Negron all of Ansonia, a brother, Anthony Negron of Stratford, sisters, Maria Tatita” Negron of Lowell, MA, Nivia Titi” Delossantos and Zenaida Delossantos both of Bridgeport, mother-in-law, Patricia Torello Sr. of Bridgeport, father-in-law, Richard Torello Sr. of New Haven, brothers-in-law, Daniel Ariel” Negron of Lowell, MA, Richard Torello of Bridgeport and Jacob Torello of Ansonia, sisters-in-law, Kathryn Torello, Lisa Torello, and Patricia Torello all of Bridgeport, along with several loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation for friends and family will take place on Thursday July 15, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME in Ansonia. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made directly to the family to help with their children’s future educational expenses.
