Florence E. “Betty” Judson, age 85 wife of 67 years to Milton Judson and resident of Shelton, died March 9 at Shady Knoll Health Center in Seymour.
She was born Oct. 14, 1929 in New Haven, daughter of the late William & Florence Davidson Terrill.
A former longtime time Ansonia resident, she retired to Woodford, VT for more than 20 years before moving to Shelton five years ago. Betty volunteered at South Western Vermont Medical Center and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Ansonia.
In addition to her husband, she leaves her daughter Barbara Quinn and husband Rick of Ansonia, son Arthur Judson & wife Holly McGinnis of Tolland, grandchildren Colby Arthur Judson, Rylee Starr Judson, Jeffrey Quinn & wife Heather, Larissa Giordano & husband David, & Cathy Dembek & husband Phil, great grandchildren Jack & Shawn Quinn, Ethan & Devin Giordano, and Justin & Meghan Dembek, and nephews Howell Williams & Kevin Monck. She was predeceased by her sister Louise Monck and great granddaughter Kaitlyn Dembek.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Interment in Woodford VT will be held in the spring.
