Florence Korpalski

Florence A. Korpalski of Shelton died on Wednesday July 29 at the Masonicare in Wallingford.

She was 80.

Florence was born in Ansonia in 1929, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Molski Korpalski. A resident of Shelton for 50 years, she was employed in the office at the former B.F. Goodrich in Shelton and prior at the the former Winchester Repeating Arms in New Haven.

Florence is survived by two brothers, Alexander Korpalski of Seymour and Adam Korpalski of Washington, Conn; two sisters, Estelle Zubrick of Seymour and Genevieve Robbilard of Shelton, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother John Korpalski and sisters Ann Kofarago and Albina Dumschott.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday Aug. 1. The ceremony will begin at the Spinell-Ricciuti Funeral Home on Beaver Street in Ansonia and will be followed by a mass at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church in Ansonia. Burial will immediately follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Derby. 

Visiting hours will be held Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the procession leaves for church.
