Florence Yeomans

Florence Yeomans, age 92, of Shelton, entered peacefully into eternal rest on November 1, 2023, at CT Hospice in Branford surrounded by loved ones.

She was born in Mahanoy City, PA on June 13, 1931, daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Wychulis) Pogozelski. Florence moved to Shelton in 1964 and spent 39 years working as a
technical illustrator for Sikorsky Aircraft. She had a love for traveling and spent a significant amount of time in Hawaii, Florida and skiing in Vermont and the Rockies. She enjoyed trips to
NYC to shop and attend Broadway shows with her granddaughters. 

Above all else, she was very proud of her family and their accomplishments.

Florence is survived by her son Charles Kovalusky and his wife Betsy, two granddaughters, Jennifer Passoni and her husband Robert, and Beth Hyman, as well as four great-
grandchildren: Robby and Allie Passoni, and Joshua and Molly Hyman. She is also survived by her beloved partner of 47 years, Richard Foulkrod, along with his family, including Richard
Foulkrod, Daryl Birdsall and her husband David, Karla Phair, and Linda Alcorace and her husband Bernie, and their children. Additionally, she is survived by her sister Monica
Pogozelski, as well as several nieces and nephews. Florence was predeceased by her brothers Charles and Walter Pogozelski and her sister Helen Martin.

Funeral services will be private.
