Frances E. (Turaj) Kacinski

Frances E. (Turaj) Kacinski, age 91, a Seymour resident for most of her life, entered into rest on Sunday April 5, 2020 in Shelton Lakes Apple Rehab. 

She was the devoted wife of the late Stanley Kacinski. Frances was born in Derby on April 10, 1928, daughter of the late Francis and Bertha (Budzik) Turaj. She was a clerk at woolworth for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Derby and Seymour Senior Citizen Center and the Polish Falcons. Frances was an avid gardener who loved to spend time with her family.

She is survived by her beloved son Robert Kacinski and his wife Florence, daughter-in-law Jacqueline Cochran, four loving grandchildren, Denise Montelone and her husband Antonio, Sarah Kacinski, Jacqueline Kacinski and her husband Robert Bednar and Paul Gorniak and his wife Mary, eight great grandchildren, Davonte, Destiny, Liliana, Robert, Aiden, Brady, Tyler, Austin and several nieces and nephew. She was predeceased by one son Paul Kacinski, four brothers, Frank, Stanley, Casmir and Joseph Turaj and two sisters Mary Piekarski and Wanda Sedor.

Due to the pandemic health crisis a memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Michael Church, Derby. Burial was held in St. Michael Cemetery. The Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home 253 Elizabeth St. Derby are entrusted with the arrangements.
