Frances M. (Yagovane) Karpus, a 95 year old Seymour resident, entered into eternal rest June 6.
She was born Dec. 4, 1922 in PA., daughter of the late Peter & Catherine Kowalski.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Barbara Kida (Thomas) of Seymour, son Gary Yagovane of Seminole, FL., granddaughters Shelly (Mark) Bennett of Seymour, Traci (Joseph) Gambino of Northern Virginia, Taylor Yagovane of Seminole, FL., grandson Scott Kida of Miami, FL., 4 great grandsons Matthew, William & Kyle Bennett, all of Seymour and Valente Kida of Miami, FL., and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by several brothers & sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday June 13 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Church in Seymour. Burial will be private.
The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, is entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd, Newington, CT 06111.
