Frances Robillard, age 79, peacefully entered into eternal rest on May 21, 2021, at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the beloved and devoted wife of Euclid J. Robillard.
Frances was born in Bridgeport on May 12, 1942, daughter of the late Angelo and Agnes Principi Piccirillo. A resident of Ansonia since 1964, she was employed as an X‑Ray Technician for Dr. Robert Russo in Bridgeport and later as a Medical Assistant for Dr. Jacob Slepian in Ansonia, until her retirement in 2000. Frances was an avid bingo player and enjoyed her visits to the casino. She was happiest when surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Euclid, she leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Joseph A. Robillard (Beverly) of Charles Town, WV, a daughter, Linda A. Murphy (Nick Nichols) of Riverside, NJ, grandchildren, Joan F. Miller (Jordan) of Lynchburg, VA, Kristen M. Cation (Jimmy) of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and Lucas J. Robillard (Emily) of Charles Town, WV, great-grandchildren, Lillian J. Miller and Everett B. Miller and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Theresa Saia.
A walk-through visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday May 25, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Masks will be required for entry. On Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at 10:00 am, everyone is invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial meeting directly at St. Joseph Church, 32 Jewett Street in Ansonia. Interment will immediately follow in St. Michael Cemetery in Derby. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Frances’s memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Church.
