Francis J. Connors

Francis J. Connors, age 79, of Ansonia, known as Frannie to some and Red to others, the beloved husband of the late Bernadine Januska Connors entered into eternal rest peacefully at his home on Thursday, September 24, 2020. He was born in Derby, on February 25, 1941, son of the late Franklyn and Katherine Bergin Connors.

Red was a retired Machinist for Teledyne in Ansonia where he had worked until his retirement. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing with the senior league every Monday morning at the Woodhaven Country Club. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family and many friends. Red will be sadly missed by all, but will remain forever in our hearts.

His loving family includes his three sons Dennis Connors and his wife Rebecca, Timothy Connors and his wife Rosa and Frank Connors and his wife Lauren, his cherished grandchildren Julie, Christopher, Alicia, Andrew and Olivia along with Abigail and Rosalyn, his great granddaughters. Red was also survived by his brother James Connors and his wife Ellie, his sister Kathleen Macconnie, his sister-in-law Jean Krusko and several nieces and nephews. Red will be sadly missed by his cat Morticia and all his family and friends.

Friends and relatives may attend a walkthrough visitation for both Francis and his beloved wife Bernadine at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank St. (Rt. 67, across from Klarides Village), Seymour on Sunday, October 4, 2020, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
