Frank A. Desiderato

Frank A. Desiderato, 80, of Ansonia, entered into rest on Friday evening, April 8, 2011, at the Shady Knoll Health Care in Seymour. He was predeceased by his wife Michelina Cassisi Desiderato. 

Mr. Desiderato was born in Derby on July 9, 1930, son of the late Donato and Maria Santi Liberatore Desiderato. Frank was employed at B.F. Goodrich and later at Sikorsky Aircraft until his retirement in 1996. 

He is survived by a daughter, Marina Desiderato of Naugatuck, 2 sisters, Josephine Camilini and her husband Domenic of Seymour and Fillipa Murzilli and her husband Domenico of Capistrello, Italy, a sister in law, Elisa Desiderato, a grandson, Jason Hubbard, special nieces, Rita Miller and Barbara Raccio, and several other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Alexander Desiderato and sisters, Antoinette Vecchione, Vincenza DiMartino, and Rosina Parente. 

Friends and relatives are invited to attend his funeral on Tuesday April 12, 2011 at 10:30 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery in Derby. Visiting hours will be held on TUESDAY MORNING from 9:00 am until the procession leaves for church at the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
