Frank D. “Butch” Camilini

Frank D. Butch” Camilini, 68, of Derby, beloved husband of MaryAnn Szymanski Camilini, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday morning, December 7, 2010, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. 

Mr. Camilini was born in Derby on July 29, 1942, son of the late Amelio and Marion Martin Camilini. A lifelong resident of Derby, he was the co-owner and operator of Two Guys Trucking in Derby for many years and prior was employed as a driver and dispatcher at the former Consolidated Freightways in Milford. Butch enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gun collecting, and especially playing poker with his friends. 

In addition to his wife MaryAnn, he is survived by 2 sons, Mark D. Camilini of Derby and Michael S. Camilini Sr. of Ansonia, 2 daughters, Dina M. Camilini and her husband David Stiber Sr. of Derby and Melissa E. Camilini of Milford, a sister, Mary Jackie” Simonu of Beacon Falls, 4 grandchildren, Migdalia and Nadya Camilini of Milford, David Stiber Jr. of Derby, and Michael Camilini Jr. of Ansonia, special cousins, Nick Camilini of Seymour, Patty Camilini of Oxford, Rosalie Behrle of Ansonia, and Vincent Pompa of Seymour, as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Friends and relatives are invited to attend his funeral on Friday December 10, 2010, at 9:15am from the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Jude’s Church in Derby.
