Frank J. Mantini, 80, of Derby, entered into eternal rest on June 22, 2012, at Griffin Hospital.
Mr. Mantini was born in Ansonia on March 8, 1932, son of the late Emilio and Carolina Lisi Mantini.
He was employed as a riveter at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford for 45 years until his retirement. A proud veteran, he honorably served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by two sons, Joseph M. Mantini and Anthony S. Mantini both of Derby, a brother, Gaetano Mantini and his wife Marie of Derby and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Mantini, and a sister, Mary Mantini.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral on Thursday June 28, 2012, at 10:00 (MEET DIRECTLY) at St. Jude Church in Derby for a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial.
Inurnment with U.S. Army military honors will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby. There will be no visiting hours.
