Frank J. Wasilewski, age 80, of Derby entered into rest on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the Yale-New Haven Hospital with his loving family by his side.
He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Valerie (Condon) Wasilewski.
Frank was born in Derby, on April 7, 1937, son of the late Walter and Josephine (Esposito) Wasilewski and was a lifelong Derby resident.
He was a shipping and receiving supervisor for 29 years at Schick Manufacturing, Inc. in Milford before his retirement in 1992. Frank enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is the beloved father of Paul Wasilewski and his wife Diane, Michael Wasilewski and his wife Lynn and Daniel Wasilewski and his wife Margaret, and brother of Dolores Pisani. Frank is the loving grandfather of Kyle, Taylor, Christopher, Ashley, Brittany and Cody. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Frank is predeceased by his brothers, Anthony, John and Robert Wasilewski.
Friends may call on Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby. On Saturday, his funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church. His burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery.
