Frank Julius Coppola Jr.

Frank Julius Coppola Jr., a 75-year-old Orange resident and husband to Karen Richter Coppola, entered into eternal rest July 17. 

He was born Aug. 21, 1942 in Derby, son of the late Frank Julius Coppola Sr. and Carmela Minnie” Salzano Coppola. 

In addition to his livelihood as a mason, Frank was a proud veteran of U.S. Navy Seabees; he was in fact stationed in Cuba during The Cuban Missile Crisis. 

In addition to his wife Karen, he leaves to cherish his memory his son Francis Coppola and daughter Shirby Wallace, (Rob) all of whom reside in Hamden, 3 sisters Madeline Valentine of Prospect, Teresa O’Dea (Bob) of Beacon Falls and Marie Coppola, as well as several nieces, nephews, uncles & cousins. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and all the staff at Griffin Hospital for the loving and professional care they gave to Frank. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to CT Hospice Home Health Care Inc., 2 Trap Falls Rd # 408, Shelton, CT 06484. Memorial services will be held on Saturday July 21 at 11:00 a.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, CT. (www.jenkinskingfh.com) Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service. Following his wishes, burial at sea will be privately held by the family.
