Frank Salvatore Forgione, age 64, entered eternal rest on January 14, 2024, at Norwalk Hospital. He was the loving and devoted husband of forty-four years to Joan Cappella Forgione.
Frank was born in New Haven on February 11, 1959, son of the late Salvatore and Evelyn Sullivan Forgione. He was an amazing cook who was employed at various restaurants throughout his career. Frank absolutely loved to fish and he was extremely knowledgeable in the sport. He will be sadly missed but will remain in our hearts forever.
In addition to his wife Joan, Frank leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Sherrie Ann Forgione of Ansonia and Christina Marie Forgione of Shelton, a sister, Beverly Prodati of
Hamden and grand-dogs Chance and Brady, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Salvatore Forgione and his sisters, Louise Forgione and Virginia Forgione.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Friday, January 19, 2024, from 8:15 – 9:15 am in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. His funeral will then proceed to St. Joseph Church, 50 Fairmont Place in Shelton, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Mount Saint Peter Cemetery in Derby.
