Frank Stanley Jr., age 77, husband to Pearl Fain Stanley and resident of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest April 21.
He was born May 13, 1933 in Derby, son of the late Frank & Sallie Saunders Stanley.
A Veteran of the U.S. Army, he worked in the foundry for Farrel Co. in Ansonia until his retirement.
In addition to his wife, he leaves to cherish his memory his son Brad J. Stanley of Ansonia, four daughters, Sharyn L. Grant & Gayle Y. Stanley, both of New Haven, Lorianne Wade (Henry) of Willimantic & Joanne L. Stanley of Clearwater, Fl., two brothers, Leo Stanley of Chula Vista, Cal. & Walter Stanley of Ansonia, three dear friends, Edmond “Sonny” Dojnia, Richard Lowe & Roger Goodson, twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren & two great-great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two brothers, Eugene & LeRoy Stanley and sisters, Christine Greene, Louise Spencer & Josephine McNair. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 28th at 11:30 a.m. from The Williams Memorial Church of God in Christ, 95
Bishop Williams Court, Ansonia.The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, is entrusted with arrangements. Burial with military honors will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
