Frederick J. Marra, Jr. age 92 of Seymour, devoted husband of Jean Tarantino Marra, beloved father of Kim Karkut (Ronald), Frederick J. Marra, III (Kathryne), and David Marra (Joni). brother Robert Marra and the late Richard Marra, Loving grandfather to Justin, Rachel, Gina, Patrick and Molly and great grandfather to Rose, Declan, Ryan and Liam. Fred spent most of his professional career working for Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. Later, along with his father and two brothers, they opened Marra’s Restaurant in New Haven.
Friends and family may call on Saturday January 29, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon followed by interment in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the CT Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111.
