Furman Richardson Jr., age 64 and Ansonia resident, departed this life on March 21 at Birmingham Health Center, Derby, after a brief illness.
Furman was the son of the late Furman Richardson Sr. and Laura Richardson Tucker of Ansonia.
He was a member of the Clinton A.M.E. Zion Church of Ansonia, where he served on the Steward Board. He was also a preacher steward.
Furman leaves to cherish his memory his loving, devoted mother Mrs. Laura Richardson Tucker; two sisters Barbara Lancaster and Sadie Smith, both of Ansonia; three step children Candace, Darrin & Jo-Ann; devoted friend Barbara Alston; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
He was predeceased by his father and two brothers, Carroll Wayne & John Wesley Richardson.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 11:00 a.m. from the Clinton A.M.E. Zion Church in Ansonia.
