Gail Susan Anderson Schlitter, wife of the late Frederick Richard Schlitter Jr. and Oxford resident, passed away June 4, 2022. She was born August 7, 1947 in Waterbury, CT., daughter of the late Russel Marcus Anderson and Arline Helen Stotz. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother Lynn Anderson. She is survived by her children Dana Schlitter, with grandsons Oliver and Milo and Kristen Middlemiss with Grandson Henry. Gail was a longtime active member of The Great Hill United Methodist Church in Seymour and worked for Brush & Floss Dental Center in Stratford.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 22 at 11:00 a.m. from The Great Hill United Methodist Church, 225 Great Hill Rd. in Seymour. Casual dress is requested, and a tropical theme would be appreciated. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, has been privileged with the arrangements.
