Gary J. Bashura, 51, of Ansonia, entered into rest on Jan. 30, 2011, at the Hartford Hospital.
Mr. Bashura was born in Derby on July 19, 1959, son of the late John and Dorothea Bodrasky Bashura. A lifelong resident of Ansonia, he was employed as a dedicated Biology and Chemistry teacher at Emmett O’Brien Technical High School in Ansonia for many years. Gary was an member of the St. Sebastian Men’s Club in Ansonia and an avid outdoorsman.
He is survived by a sister, Karen Pedevillano of Upton, MA and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Brian Bashura.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend Gary’s funeral service and celebration of his life on Friday February 4, 2011, at 6:30 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, with Rev. Amy Welin officiating. Visiting hours will also be held on Friday from 4:00 pm until the service begins. Burial will be private.
