George Christopher Dubois, age 67, of Shelton, entered into rest on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, in his home with his wife and daughter by his side. He is the beloved husband of 40 years of Debra (Walsh) Dubois. Chris was born in Bridgeport on March 7, 1958, son of the late George Bertram Dubois and Joyce (Ecay) Keder. He has lived in Shelton for 38 years, coming from childhood in Milford.
Chris loved to ride. He lived by his motto “Forever Two Wheels” and traveled across the country many times enjoying the back roads of the United States on his motorcycle, usually accompanied by his wife or trips with his buddies who also loved to ride. One thing Chris always said was “We are here for a good time, not a long time.” And to make the best out of the time we have here. It’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey.
He is the beloved father of Christopher Michael Dubois (Lina Silveira) and Allyson Springer (Ryan Springer) and proud grandfather of Malekai, Jack, Luke, Cash, and Elliana. He is also survived by his sister, Laurel Powell, and his step-brother, Robert “Bob” Keder.
Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, from 5 to 7 PM.
