George H. Beaudwin, age 83, of Bristol, entered into rest on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Complete Care in Middlebury. He was the beloved husband of 62 years to the late Suzanne (Boileau) Beaudwin. George was born in Bridgeport on March 22, 1942, son of the late Harry and Blanche Beaudwin, and he lived in Shelton for most of his life.
He worked as a butcher until his retirement. George loved to enjoy a good meal with his family, and he enjoyed going out for a drive, and regular trips to Duchess.
He is the beloved father of Kenneth Beaudwin and Brenda Borgognone (Peter), cherished grandfather of Michael Beaudwin (Nicole), Rebecca Beaudwin, Sean Beaudwin (Ally), and Teiryn Borgognone (Dave Magnamo), and leaves seven great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Nancy Murray and Joanie Pullo, and many nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by a son, David Beaudwin, and three sisters, Helen Donahue, Joyce Beaudwin, and Ruthie Murray.
Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Wednesday from 10 to 11 AM. His funeral service will begin at 11 AM in the parlor. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby.
