George M. Tomlinson, Sr., age 91, of Shelton entered into rest on Friday July 19, 2013 in the CT Hospice Branford. He was the devoted husband of the late Marjorie Faulkner Tomlinson.
Mr. Tomlinson was born in Stratford June 18, 1922 son of the late George H. and Helen Wilkinson Tomlinson and was a Stratford resident for most of his life.
He was employed for many years as an HVAC man at the former Derby Coal and Oil until his retirement. He was a former member of Harbor Valley Yacht Club in Shelton.
He is the beloved father of Gerald C. Tomlinson and his wife Marsha, Peter H. Tomlinson, and the late George M. Tomlinson, Jr. He is the brother of Jean Feyk, and the late John Tomlinson, and the late Olive Clark. He is the cherished grandfather of Peter and Ashley, and the step grandfather of Noelle, and Cara. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
The Tomlinson Family wishes to thank all of the great people at Crosby Commons, Griffin Hospital and CT Hospice of Branford who were so kind to George.
