Gladys E. Fitzpatrick, 90, of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on May 23, 2013, at Griffin Hospital, following a long illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Eugene E. Fitzpatrick.
Mrs. Fitzpatrick was born in New Haven on August 3, 1922, daughter of the late William and Elizabeth Dorman Burroughs. A resident of Ansonia since 1951, she was employed as a bookkeeper.
She is survived by two sons, Gene W. Fitzpatrick and his wife Nancy Tuder of Milford and Mark S. Fitzpatrick of Vermont, seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Randy Fitzpatrick.
Per Mrs. Fitzpatrick’s request, her funeral service and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, has been privileged with the arrangements.
