Gloria Brown Stanley, age 78, wife of the late Eugene “Sonny” Stanley and resident of Derby, died Oct. 13.
She was born Jan. 8, 1931 in New York City, daughter of the late John & Mabel Brown and attended the Star of Bethlehem Church in Ansonia.
She leaves two daughters, Robyn and Barbara Stanley, both of New Haven, two brothers, David Stanley of Shelton and Steven Stanley of Ansonia and 27 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Sonny, she was predeceased by four sisters, Estelle, Miriam, Dorothy and Ethel and a brother, Richard.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 10 a.m. from the Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, (http://www.jenkinskingfh.com) 12 Franklin St. Ansonia.
Friends may call on Saturday, 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
