Gloria Trapkauskas

Gloria Trapkauskas, a 92 year old longtime Ansonia resident and widow of Floyd Trapkauskas, entered into eternal rest June 20. 

She was born Jan. 29, 1926 in the Bronx, daughter of the late Salvatore & Angelina Crescente Romano. 

She was a devoted parishioner of St. Anthony’s Church in Ansonia and worked for The Pierce Foundation in New Haven. 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Lynn Tambone. In addition to her brothers William & Paul Romano, she is survived by 2 nephews and 1 niece. 

Following her wishes, she was buried privately on June 22 in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby next to her husband Floyd. No calling hours were held. 

The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia was entrusted with the arrangements.
