Harry H. Kershaw, Jr., age 78 of Shelton, entered into rest on Tuesday March 14, 2017 in the Hewitt Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He is the devoted husband of 59 years to Beverly (Earl) Kershaw. Harry was born in Derby on December 22, 1938 son of the late Harry H. Kershaw, Sr. , and Margaret Bryce Kershaw.
He was a retired tool and dye maker. He loved traveling and always enjoyed trips to Las Vegas
And Mohegan Sun. He loved cruising on his yacht the “Kim K”, and served as the Commodore of the Harbor Valley Yacht Club. Harry also enjoyed fishing and cruise vacations.
He is the beloved father of Kimberly Kershaw Posack and her husband Michael, and also leaves his best friend Skippy Koseki, and his loving dog and companion Nikko. He was predeceased by his sister Margaret (Peggy) Kershaw O’Connell.
Friends may greet his family on Sunday from 3 to 5 PM in the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Road Shelton. On Monday his funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:15 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Church Shelton. Burial will be in the spring in Riverside Cemetery Shelton.
