Helen B. Ambrose

Helen B. Ambrose, 93, of Seymour, peacefully entered into eternal rest on December 9, 2014, at Birmingham Health Care in Derby, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Anthony Ambrose.

Mrs. Ambrose was born in Derby on October 28, 1921, daughter of the late Anthony and Bernice Danielczuk. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Joseph Church in Ansonia and a longtime member of the Lafayette Club in Derby.

Helen is survived by a son, Anthony J. Ambrose, a daughter, Paula J. Keating and her husband Thomas all of Seymour, grandchildren, David Keating of West Haven, Kellie Steeves and her husband David of Oxford, Thomas Keating of Branford and Candace Keating and her companion Jeff of Seymour, great-grandchildren, Alexa and Ava Steeves of Oxford and Megan and Hannah Keating of Brookfield and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Charles and Matthew Danielczuk and sisters, Jane Gibej and Jean Szostek.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Helen’s funeral on Wednesday December 17, 2014, at 10:00 am (please meet directly) at St. Joseph Church, 32 Jewett Street in Ansonia for a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private. There will be no visiting hours.
