Helen “Chicky” Albarelli, age 88, of Shelton, entered into rest on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport.
She is the devoted wife of 68 years of Ralph Albarelli. Helen was born in Bridgeport on March 28, 1928, daughter of the late Pasquale and Assunta Timpanelli, and was a Bridgeport resident for most of her life living in Shelton for last three years with her granddaughter Melissa and her husband Sean.
She was a loving grandmother and great grandmother. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed playing cards, slot machines at the casino, and watching television.
Helen is the beloved mother of the late Elaine Basque and Joann Albarelli, cherished grandmother of Melissa and Sean Millea and David and Bbbbi Basque, and great-grandmother of Jaxon and Colson Millea. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. In addition to her daughters, Helen was predeceased by a grandson, Timothy Toros, her brother Tony Timpanelli, and three sisters, Viola Posh, Connie Petrosino, and Rose Magone.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
