Helen M. Hopkins, age 98, of Derby entered into rest Thursday February 22, 2018 in the Birmingham Healthcare Facility.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Hopkins.
Helen was born in Derby on October 6, 1919 the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Maciog) Slezak.
She was a line worker at Sponge Rubber for many years before her retirement.
She is survived by her daughter Joan Tallberg and her husband Arthur, her grandchildren Donna Hamby and Stacy Tallberg, her great grandson Billy DeFusco, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Joseph M. Hopkins and several brothers and sisters.
The Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St. Derby, has been entrusted with her arrangements.
