Henryk Kaczmarczyk, age 66, of Ansonia, CT, passed away at his home, surrounded by family and loved ones, on July 3rd 2021. He was the beloved husband of Teresa Poltorak Kaczmarczyk.
Born in Hejdyk, Poland, on July 4th 1954, with 11 brothers and two sisters, son of the late Stanislaw and Marianna Popiolek Kaczmarczyk. Henryk served in the Polish Army, and later graduated from the Forester Technical School. A man with a green thumb, who could make any tree grow – found peace in the forest and proudly worked as a forester during his time in Poland.
Henryk met his wife Teresa in his home town, where the two married in 1979. They have 8 beautiful children – two sons Rafal and Lukasz, and six daughters Sylwia, Kasia, Gosia, Iwona, Justyna and Monika.
In 2000, Henryk, his wife, and children moved to Ansonia, where he worked and retired from Bullard- Havens Technical School. Henryk loved his hobbies with passion, from music and dancing, to discussing politics. He also loved watching winter sports, telling jokes, working outdoors/on the house, playing scratch-offs, traveling, and most of all spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, two sons , six daughters and eight grandchildren, Mateusz, David, Sylwia, Kaya, Izabella, Maximillion, Annie and Charlie. He is also survived by two sisters, and seven brothers. Henryk was preceded in death by four of his brothers.
Visiting hours for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
On Thursday, July 8, 2021, all are invited to attend his funeral at 10:00 am (Please Meet Directly) at St. Joseph Church, 32 Jewett Street in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will immediately follow in St. Michael Cemetery in Derby. The Kaczmarczyk family would like to thank everyone for all the prayers and well wishes.
