Howard J. Ogle Jr.

Howard J. Bud” Ogle Jr., 62, entered into eternal rest on June 17, 2016, at Yale-New Haven Hospital, following a long illness.

Bud was born in Derby on September 9, 1953, son of the late Howard and Jean McCarrick Ogle Sr. A resident of Derby for most of his life, he was employed as a parts manager at various automobile dealerships throughout his career. Bud was an avid fan of Notre Dame, Boston Red Sox and NASCAR. He enjoyed attending several Indianapolis 500 races.

He is survived by an aunt, Mary Lou Boroski and her husband Richard J. Boroski of Derby, cousins, Mary Kay Childs of Seymour, Sharon Kresen of Naugatuck, Keith Ogle of Derby and Deborah Potter of NC, cherished second cousins, William Ogle of FL and Lindsey Roeschke of Washington, DC, devoted friends, Scott Lydem, George DeTullio, Rob Zuraw, Charles Albea and dear friend of Bill W. He was predeceased by a cousin, John W. Ogle.

A private memorial service for Bud will take place with close family and friends. Interment will be private. The SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia, has been privileged with the arrangements.
