Howat A. “Howie/Beastie” Miller Sr., age 53, unexpectedly entered eternal rest on September 14, 2024, at Griffin Hospital in Derby.
Howie was born in Derby on June 14, 1971, beloved son of Raymond E. Miller Jr. and Leanna G. Lucas Miller of Derby.
He worked around the Valley area landscaping and beautifying properties. Howie enjoyed all kinds of music and especially liked writing his own music, singing, rapping, and dancing. He loved football and never missed a game cheering on his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.
Howie’s greatest joy was being a Papa and spending time with his grandson Jaxson. He will be sadly missed but will remain in our hearts forever.
In addition to his parents, Raymond and Leanna, Howie leaves to cherish his memory, his son, Howat A. Miller Jr. (Nicole Kachoulas) of Seymour, daughter, Hailey A. Miller of Ansonia, grandson, Jaxson Miller of Ansonia, and niece Alexis Miller of Beacon Falls. He was predeceased by his brother, Raymond E. Miller III.
Relatives and friends are invited to greet the family and pay their respects on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm in the chapel of SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
