Huguette Deslauriers, 78, of Seymour, unexpectedly entered into eternal rest on January 8, 2019, at Griffin Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Claude R. Deslauriers.
Mrs. Deslauriers was born in Coaticook, Quebec, Canada on March 11, 1940, daughter of the late Oscar and Alexina Lafond. A resident of Seymour for forty-five years, she enjoyed traveling, camping, making people laugh and especially taking care of her family.
In addition to her husband Claude, she leaves to cherish her memory, a loving son, Marc Deslauriers (Tammy Ljungquist) of Oxford, a loving daughter, Nancy Deslauriers (Gary Popielasz) of Seymour, a caring sister, Gisele Dery of Canada and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday January 11, 2019, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia.
On Saturday, her funeral will begin at 10:15 am at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia. Burial will be in St. Edmonds Cemetery in Coaticook, Quebec Canada. For more info, please visit http://www.spinelliricciutifh.com.
