Irene Laborie, age 89, of Shelton, entered into rest on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2014 at Masonic Care of Newtown. She was the beloved wife of 62 years to Rolland Laborie. Irene was born in Fort Fairfield, ME on April 13, 1925, daughter of the late Henry and Bernice (Manter) Milliard.
Irene was a Nurse working in the Intensive Care Unit for many years at Griffin Hospital before her retirement.
She is the beloved mother of Paul Laborie and Pamela Zagula, and loving grandmother of Stephanie,Victoria and Julie. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Allen Laborie.
