Isabel M. Wiacek

Isabel M. Wiacek, age 84, widow of Chester M. Wiacek Sr. and Ansonia resident, entered into eternal rest April 9. She was born August 4, 1929 in Derby, daughter of the late William & Katherine Kuzas.

Isabel graduated from Ansonia High School and was a parishioner of The Church of the Assumption in Ansonia. She was also a member of the St. Anthony’s Church Ladies’ Guild. 

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Chester Wiacek Jr. & wife Diane of Shelton, & William Wiacek Sr. & wife Joanne of Seymour, two daughters, Darlene Tanner & husband Rick of Ansonia & Kathleen Molner & husband Charles of Derby. She will also be missed by 8 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by two brothers, Joseph Ramanauskas & Vincent Kuzas and two sisters, Anna Ramanauskas & Louise Biggs.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday April 12 at 10:30 a.m. at The Church of the Assumption in Ansonia. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Isabel’s Grandchildren Scholarship Fund through the funeral home.
