Isabelle Badela, a Derby resident, entered into eternal rest Oct. 1, 2015.
She was born in Derby, daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret Latvis Moresko.
Isabelle was a graduate of Stone Business College and worked as a bookkeeper for Derby Public Schools as well as the Derby Neck Library. She was a former Girl Scout leader as well as a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Derby.
She leaves her daughter Barbara Badela of Derby, with whom she resided and a nephew John Moresko of Seymour, and several cousins. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister Helen Webb & brother Peter Moresko.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday Oct. 6th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Derby. Interment will follow in Mt. St. Peter Cemetery in Derby. Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. (www.jenkinskingfh.com)
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Friends of Derby Neck Library through the funeral home.
