Iti Teo Perini, age 89, of Shelton, entered into rest on Monday, May 13, 2024, at Bridgeport Hospital. He is the beloved husband of 32 years of Irena Glinskaia. Iti was born in Fiume, Italy on April 28, 1935, son of the late Michael and Maria Perini, and he lived in Shelton for 50 years.
He was a contractor and ran the Perini Construction Company. Iti loved the opera and classical music, and was an accomplished chess player. He loved spending time with his many friends and his family.
He is the beloved father of Edo Perini and Annabella Perini, and proud grandfather of Antonio Nákis.Iti also leaves a brother, Ezio Perini, a sister, Daria Morales, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Friday from 10 to 11:30 AM. His procession will then leave for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon at St. Michael’s Church in Derby. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Shelton.
