Ivoryne M. Lepri, age 94, of Derby entered into rest on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Griffin Hospital with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Derby on September 11, 1925, daughter of the late John and Violet (Bryant) Norwood and was a Derby resident for most of her life.
Ivoryne worked in the lab at Hull Dye for many years. She was a member of the Ansonia and Derby Senior Centers. Ivoryne enjoyed crocheting and senior trips to the casino. She was the beloved mother of Ivoryne Jones and her husband Arthur and Sharyn Breaux and sister Martha Hinkson. Ivoryne is the loving grandmother of numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three sons Patrick, Richard and John Robert Lepri, a daughter Violet Nero, a brother Albert Norwood and a son-in-law Anthony Breaux. Friends may call on Saturday from 1 to 3 pm at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby. Her funeral service will follow at 3 pm at the parlor.
