James A. Tretiak, 57, of New Haven, formerly of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest on September 9, 2013, at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He was the longtime companion of George Bucheli.
Jim was born in Derby on November 24, 1955, beloved son of Delia Crasilli Tretiak of Ansonia and the late Stephen A. Tretiak. Jim was affectionately known as a “jack of all trades” and could fix almost anything.
In addition to his mother and companion, he is survived by a brother, Stephen J. Tretiak of Seymour and many friends.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday September 13, 2013, from 4 – 6 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. Per Jim’s wishes, his burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
