James F. Fraulo, age 79, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday evening, January 21, 2022, in the comfort of his home, with his loving family by his side.
He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen F. Middendorf Fraulo. Jim was born in New Haven on November 5, 1942, son of the late William and Adeline Salce Fraulo.
After marrying in 1964, he resided in Ansonia until moving to the Woodmont section of Milford in 1999. He began his career as a liquor salesman for Eder Brothers, CT Distributors and Hartley & Parker. Later, he was the District Sales Manager for General Mills for eighteen years, until his retirement. Jim was a classic car enthusiast, enjoyed spending time at the beach, especially in Cape Cod, was an avid reader, and a fan of the NY Yankees. Jim had a passion for cooking, loved sharing his recipes and enjoyed entertaining family and friends.
Above all, Jim was happiest when surrounded by his family and many great friends. He leaves to cherish his memory, a son, James W. Fraulo (Colleen) of Ansonia, a daughter, Sheryl Fraulo-Jones (Russell) of Milford, grandchildren, James M. Fraulo and Julia K. Fraulo of Ansonia and Jameson R. Jones of Milford, a sister, Sharon Homick (Richard) of Oxford, sisters-in-law, Maureen Foley (Dan) of Derby and Alice Fritz (Ross) of Cornelius, NC and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday January 26, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Thursday, January 27, 2022, his funeral will be held at 10:00 am, (please meet directly) at Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Drive in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial.
