James Flax Jr.

James Flax Jr., a 69 year old lifelong Ansonia resident, passed away June 13. 

He was born April 29, 1953 in Derby, son of the late James and Delores Barnett Flax Sr. He was a graduate of The Ansonia Public Schools, as well as Ansonia High School, Class of 1971. James was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a machinist for American Brass Co. 

He leaves his son Marlo Zimmerman, brother Richard Flax and sisters Mary Flax and Carolyn Gardner, all of Ansonia, as well as his brother John Flax of Danbury. He was predeceased by his brother Barry and his sister Gail. Private funeral arrangements and interment in The State Veteran Cemetery in Middletown will be held at the convenience of the family. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia has been entrusted with arrangements.
