James M. Kingston III, 67, entered into peaceful rest on Feb. 24 in the Griffin Hospital with his loving family by his side.
He is the Husband of Frances (Fitzpatrick) Kingston. Born in New Haven son of the late James M. and Margaret “Peg” (Connors) Kingston. He is a communicant of the Church of the Assumption, raised in Ansonia later moving to Seymour, an avid UCONN Huskies, Boston Celtics and Red Sox Fan. He was employed by AVCO Lycoming for many years as well as AT+T and the Town of Seymour as Maintenance Tech.
Jim was an avid hunter, loved nature, the outdoors, playing billiards, fishing with his grandson Tanner Kingston whom he adored. To know Jim was to love him.Survivors besides his wife are two sons Jim IV of New Haven, Jonathan of Seymour, Grandson Tanner 3 sisters Kathleen Kingston Larson (Alvin), Margaret Kingston Sheahan (Timothy) and Anne Kingston Messina (Edward).
Family and Friends can attend a walk thru wake service on Thursday March 2 from 11:00 till 12:45 at the Bennett Funeral Home 91 N. Cliff St. and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. in the Church of the Assumption. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Assumption School in care of the Bennett Funeral Home
