James Mancini, age 61, of New Haven entered into rest on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Blanca Argueta Mancini.
James was born in Tocco, Casauria, Pescara, Italy on May 20, 1952, son of the late Theodore and Dominica DeAngelo Mancini. Jim came to America when he was 5 years old and became a long time Shelton resident. He was a machinist at Sikorsky Aircraft for over 25 years.
James is the loving father of Emanuela, Antonina and Gabriel Mancini, step-father of, Susana Arias, Demitri (Johanna) Arias and Raul (Sandra) Arias, brother of, Maria Quevedo, Vincenza Guerrero, Rosemarie Bomba and Lydia Lennon. He is also survived by his step-grandson Gael Arias and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may greet his children on Monday September 23, from 4 pm until 5 pm. His Memorial Service will follow at 5 pm in the Riverview Funeral Home 390 River Rd. Shelton.
