Jane Eheman

Mrs. Jane Eheman, 92 of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest Oct. 5, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife for over 70 years of Donald Eheman. Mrs. Eheman was born July 25, 1932 in Derby, daughter of the late William E. Stapleton and Gladys Furey Stapleton. She graduated from Laurelton Hall and Amherst College. 

She was an active parishioner of The Church of the Assumption in Ansonia, and a member of The Catholic Daughters of America. Jane loved time spent in Cape Cod and was a resident of Chatham for over 10 years. She was a big fan of Notre Dame football, the New England Patriots and UCONN girls basketball, but most of all, she enjoyed time with her family.

In addition to her husband Donald, she leaves to cherish her memory her two daughters; Patricia Fragola (William) of Ansonia, Mary Barone (James) of East Haven and a son, Michael Eheman (Anne) of Ansonia, five grandchildren Kelly, Alexandra, James Jr., Taylor and Michael Jr. and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her oldest son William Eheman of Florida. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday Oct. 9th at 11:30 a.m. from The Church of the Assumption. 

Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home 12 Franklin St. Ansonia, before the funeral leaves for church. Burial follows in Pine Grove Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to The Webster Hose Hook & Ladder Co. #3.
