Jane Levinsky, age 75, of Shelton, entered into rest on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Bridgeport Hospital.
Jane was born in Derby on April 11, 1939, daughter of the late Allan Joseph Cribbins Sr. and Marguerite (O’Keefe) Cribbins, and lived in Shelton most of her life.
A longtime teacher in Shelton, Jane taught in the SIS Reading Department, Sunnyside School, the former Ferry School, and Elizabeth Shelton School for a total of 33 years and was a member of the Shelton Teachers Union.
She is the beloved mother of Anthony Levinsky and his wife Lina, Patricia Levinsky, and Lisa Levinsky. She also leaves four brothers, Alan J. Cribbins, Jr., David Cribbins Sr., Thomas Cribbins, and John Cribbins, two sisters, Patricia Grodski and Carol Gamble, and many nieces and nephews.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements, which are private.
