Janet A. Casalveri, 66, of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest on December 3, 2014, at Yale-New Haven Hospital, following a short illness, with her loving daughter’s by her side.
Ms. Casalveri was born in Derby on February 6, 1948, beloved daughter of Adriane Ilardi Casalvieri of Milford and the late Joseph Casalvieri. Janet was a librarian at Southern Connecticut Hebrew Academy in Orange for over ten years. She loved the outdoors, especially hiking and walks on the beach and enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Julienne Foy (Joseph) of Stamford and Aimee Johnson (Marcus) of Lorton, VA, a brother, Joseph Casalvieri of Louisville, KY, cherished grandchildren, Joseph Foy III, Jordan Foy and Elyse Johnson and her aunt, Josephine Mizzi of Ansonia.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday December 6, 2014, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 3:00 pm, a funeral service in celebration of Janet’s life will take place with Deacon Richard Renker officiating. Burial will be private.
