Jaynee K. Pelatowski, age 78, of Ansonia, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. She is the devoted wife of 55 years of Edward J. Pelatowski. Jaynee was born in Derby on March 20, 1947, daughter of the late Stanley and Jane (Danielsky) Domozych, and lived in Ansonia for the past 55 years.
Jaynee devoted her life to raising and caring for her family and home. She never missed a school event nor a sports activity, and loved being around her six grandkids. She loved searching for bargains and varied feline memorabilia and clothes, while also caring for and loving many of her own fur babies during her lifetime!
She is the beloved mother of Keith Pelatowski (Heather) and Christopher Pelatowski (Jennifer) and cherished grandmother of Mandy, Ryan, Aiden, Kellen, Madyson, and Logan Pelatowski. She is also survived by her brother, David Domozych, and sister, Judy Egan.
Friends may greet the family at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street in Derby on Friday, May 23rd, 2025, from 5 to 7 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Holy Rosary Church, 10 Father Salemi Drive, Ansonia at 10:00 AM.
